Ganciclovir , chemically named 9- (1,3-, two hydroxy, -2-, methyl methoxy) guanine, is a nucleoside antiviral drug and is a nucleoside derivative of guanine. With broad-spectrum and highly effective inhibition of herpes virus, it is the first choice for the treatment of CMV infection, and also plays a strong role in hepatitis B virus and adenovirus. And A Silowe (ACV) is a homologue, its antiviral effect similar to A Silowe, but the role of more powerful, especially for AIDS patients with giant cells have a powerful inhibitory effect. It is used in the induction and maintenance period of cytomegalovirus retinitis in immunocompromised persons (including AIDS patients). It can also be used for organ transplant recipients to prevent CMV infection and to prevent CMV disease in people with CMV positive serum tests.
